Inside sales Specialist

The Sales Account Manager is a key role focused on all sales aspect of the organization including quotes, customer orders, compliance, and revenue opportunities. This position serves with a service-oriented approach, focused on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and strategic approach of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and lead customer satisfaction by acting as point of contact/lead for all customer related activities.
  • Review all Request for Quotes (RFQ) for accuracy, input, and send to customer to meet customer requirements.
  • Utilize ERP system to assign projects and generate new customers; paying attention to credit holds, billing details, and accuracy of information for internal and external resources.
  • Maintain various reports related to, but not limited to the sales department.
    • To be Quoted Reports
    • Open Quote Reports
    • Quoting Reports including won vs loss, quotes by customers, etc.
    • Customer Order Reports including sales by customers, department orders, etc.
    • Sales Baseline Reports
    • Sales Pipeline Reports
    • Shipped and Shippable Reports
    • Lessons Learned Reporting (Profitability Reviews, Technical Reviews, etc.)
  • Assist the Quoting Departments in any material/outside vendor quotes to assist in RFQ’s.
  • Track and assist engineering in scheduling appropriate kick off related meetings, as necessary, for complex orders.
  • Track and ensure all contract reviews are processed within process and orders are released to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Update customer portals with delivery updates, order acknowledgements, and other pertinent information for successful customer communication.
  • Maintain a monthly report for management on all open RFQ’s and Win/Loss data metrics by following up with customers on RFQs.
  • Maintain weekly reports for management on all open orders and on time delivery.
  • Oversees and assist finance with all customer related invoicing to ensure accuracy and prompt payments.
  • Calculate and review all time and material related invoices for processing.
  • Manage all customer files and orders and maintain electronic copies in the company network drive for audit related purposes.
  • Manage and maintain corporate compliance with customers regarding ITAR, DPAS, export, and security related compliance.
  • Maintain company’s various social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Manage broadcast communications to targeted customers via email or other chosen format.
  • Report strategic opportunities to management team and follow through for successful growth.
  • Participate and complete all required and mandatory hours to meet customer and internal workload requirements, including Saturday and Sunday, as scheduled
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Aerodyn management.

requirements

  • High School Diploma Required; Bachelors’ Degree is preferred
  • 3+ years of customer services related experience
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • ERP systems experience, Epicor experience is preferred
  • Must be able to multi-task, stay organized, and be able to prioritize work daily.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be self-directed and able to deliver under pressure, meeting customer and management deadlines
  • Must be customer service oriented and have ability to understand and react to customer requirements.
  • Must be comfortable operating independently as well as within a team environment
  • Must demonstrate the ability to act professionally
