Per Edwards joins Aerodyn Ltd as Slip Ring Manager

Per Edwards this week joined our growing team in Derby, bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of Slip Rings.
Per has a rich career in developing designs and manufacturing methods for alternative contact technologies. Per will play a key role in new product development, as well as managing the slip ring team in the UK and providing technical support to our non-US customer base. In conjunction with our skilled and experienced slip ring team, Aerodyn will be able to offer customers a wider range of slip ring solutions.
Per started his career at DJ Mouldings in 1985, joining Pandect in 1995 as a Design Engineer, rising to the position of Technical Manager. During this time Per worked with customers such as British Aerospace, Mitsubishi Electric, BFNL and Nasa on numerous slip ring projects. Per then joined Airflyte Electronics in Bayonne, NJ, USA in 2004 where he worked on several projects including Combat Talon (C-130 Aircraft), using slip rings redesigned with gold on gold contacts. In 2009 he moved to Rotary Systems Inc. in Minnesota, USA where he was responsible for the introduction and development of their new slip ring product line before returning to the UK in 2015.
