Electrical Engineer

We are looking for experienced an experienced electrical engineer who would be responsible and excited to learn the electrical programming and controls of our Turbo Test Cells. This would include troubleshooting, PLC programming, and conductive research/problem solving for developmental tests.

Shift Options:

1st Shift: Monday through Friday starting at 7am

2nd Shift: Monday through Friday starting at 4pm, shift premium differential is available for this shift.

Alternate Shift: Alternate and Flexible shifts available for 2nd and 3rd shift positions, based on machining center availability

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Adheres to company safety rules/policies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, specifications to design and modify PC-Based Data Acquisition Systems.
  • Program and development of Siemens PLC for Fluid Flow Testing.
  • Analyze and identify with research the appropriate sensors and control to meet customer testing requirements.
  • Perform testing and calibration of all required testing equipment
  • Review, analyze, and prepare test documentation for reporting of test results to customers.
  • Review and provide estimated labor and materials for testing hours or equipment necessary for test.
  • Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of work area on a daily basis.
  • Participate and complete overtime to meet customer deadlines, as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Aerodyn management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; or equivalent skillset from accredited program.
  • Prior experience with PLC programming and applicable codes related to electrical engineering
  • Aerospace industry experience strongly preferred
